The resin pieces are handmade by Laura EllaKirk to her own designs. Laura makes the molds by hand, collects all the shells from Firemore Beach and the heather from the hills surrounding her Highland home, selects and arranges the chosen items into the desired design and then casts them into resin through a complex process. The pieces are then finished by hand-sanding and displayed on bits of recycled slate. A selection can be seen below. Click on image to view larger.
