Laura EllaKirk is a Scottish Artist who earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree in Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art. Laura creates unique, handcrafted gifts. Born and raised in a wonderful part of the highlands by Firemore beach and now residing 6 miles away in the village of Poolewe, surrounded by mountains, beautiful beaches and lochs.

It’s while out walking the hills and beaches that she gets her inspiration – heather from the hills, stones from the shores of the Lochs and shells from the beaches are just a few of the things that she has cast into resin for handcrafted ornaments and decorations including mobiles, paperweights, tabletop ornaments and Christmas decorations.

Laura also has a passion for drawing local wildlife which she creates into greetings cards, mounted prints and keyrings.

Laura has recently started making fused glass jewellery and is loving experimenting in different ways with the glass and seeing what the outcome is.

Laura has been commissioned to do work for clients and has recently completed art works for local hotels, businesses and the general public. Please contact Laura with any commission ideas or sales requests. Postage is available.
