The spherical resin paperweights are handmade by Laura EllaKirk to her own designs. Laura makes the molds by hand, collects all the shells, feathers and pebbles from Firemore Beach and surrounding area, selects and arranges the chosen items into the desired design and then casts them into resin through a complex process. Each paperweight is then painstakingly hand-sanded in a time consuming process.  Due to the complex and time-consuming process of making these, they are currently out of stock but hopefully more will be made in the future. A selection can be seen below. Click on image to view larger
